Here are five great rules that I like with regard to the number five that I believe are well worth remembering.
1. If in five years’ time it is not going to matter, don’t spend more than five minutes worrying about it.
We spend way too much time worrying about things that really don’t matter in the big scheme of things. Make sure you don’t allow something trivial to ruin your day.
2. You are a product of the five people you hang around with the most.
If you hand around five positive people that positivity will rub off on you and you will learn to always look at the positives. If you hand around negative people they will teach you to look at the negatives. Choose wisely.
3. You are a product of the 5 habits you do most often.
In order to achieve your goals you need to know what are the right actions to get you where you want to be. Those actions should be your habits. Those habits should be what you do the most. You break bad habits so much as you replace them with good ones. Time to evaluate your actions/habits?
4. You are a product of the five thoughts that you have the most.
Make them positive! Thoughts are energy. Your thoughts become your actions which becomes your identity. You cannot be a positive person without positive thoughts. The outside will always mirror the inside.
5. Make sure you speak to yourself with the same love and positivity you would speak to a five year old.
Bruce Lee once said “Don’t speak negatively about yourself, even as a joke. Your body doesn’t know the difference. Words are energy and cast spells, that’s why it’s called spelling. Change the way you speak about yourself and you change your life. What you’re not changing, you’re also choosing.”
So think about how you would talk to a five year old. You want to show that five year old love and positivity. You want that five year old to grow and become amazing. You should want the same for yourself.
Cheers and have a great day
